On April 1, 1931 the Lookouts were supposed to go against the Yankees, but the rain flooded the town. This game was supposed to be special because the Lookouts had a girl pitcher named Jackie Micheall. The next day the skies were clear and the Lookouts got to go up against the Yankees. During practice people watched Jackie struck Babe Ruth out. That was the first time Babe Ruth got struck out by a girl. The game started and Babe Ruth was the first batter, and Jackie was the pitcher. She trough the ball, strike he missed. She trough again, strike he missed again. She trough one more time, STRIKE he missed. Then Lou Gehrig was next how swung and missed 3 straight pitches. Jackie turned to the crowed and blow them a kiss.

Taxes
We had mints in a cup which represents money. Mrs.Mcfall had an empty basket and a stack of cards. Mrs.Mcfall would tell us what it said and if we had it we would have to put a number of mints in the basket and that represented taxes. I learned that it was not fair because people can’t control if they have and do not have things and they have to pay taxes.I now know what it felt like during the time of the American Revolution after playing that game.
2014 and 2015
I got to go on my very first plane ride. My parents and family in Utah put something together so me and my brother Caleb could go see them. When we got to the Air Port in Dallas I was amazed that it was so big. It was so big that we got lost three times! When we got checked in and got our tickets we sat down and watched the big white plane get set up. When my brother and I walked in to the plane it was very scary not having our parents there. When the plane took off it made me have butterflies in my stomach. It felt like you where in a big bubble. When we went on turns it was like you where sideways. My favorite was the landing. I liked it when you crash down and you bounce back up just like you where on a bus going on a bump. That was the funnest thing I did in 2014.
My goal for 2015 is to earn $200.00. I want to earn $200.00 so I can get myself a phone. I am going to do chores around the house and help my Noni and Aunt clean their house. I will probably do bake sales and during the Summer do lemonade stands. I already have about $150.00 so I think it won’t be very easy. I hope that I can earn $200.00 by the time the year is over.
